The ICOA will re-design aging.idaho.gov into a consumer and aging friendly design while also incorporating the State of Idaho website templates onto primary pages. The selected contractor will assist us with developing, designing, and implementing a website that can grow as the ICOA implements and launches new strategic initiatives. Development: • Organize the current content heavy sight into an attractive consumer friendly design with input from ICOA staff • Identify actionable items such as reports, resources etc. • Add elements to highlight ongoing content such as press releases, announcements, calendars, etc. • Assist ICOA with recommendations on development of content themes such as, “Stay at Home”, “Stay Healthy”, “Stay Safe” • Arrange the new website by theme or re-arrange for clarity • Add a search feature • Provide recommendations on how/where to best incorporate dynamic media • Create a mobile friendly site • Keep the website compatible for slower loading computers and older browsers • Develop a training “launch pad” that will connect with the ICOAs Moodle e-learning site Design: • Provide options for the initial concept design to the ICOA • Work with the ICOA project team to refine the design • Assist ICOA with expanding the website in the future as training and other strategic initiatives are launched Implementation: • No proprietary design elements • Migrate over content and complete design • Work with CIO and ICOA to launch the new website The contractor must utilize the required State of Idaho web templates and requirements located on Idaho.gov/webmaster. The contractor is required to adhere to all Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) requirements. The ICOA is seeking a contractor with Web Developer 2 expertise. Once a contractor is selected, the ICOA requires the project staff remain consistent throughout the project. The ICOA will provide a project lead and communication plan for meetings and decision making to the selected contractor. PSO Response: As part of the response to the PSO, please review the ICOA website at www.aging.idaho.gov and include any initial design ideas or concepts. Also provide links/examples of completed websites. Agency Expected Deliverables • December 8, 2017: Development completed and a design plan submitted to ICOA for approval. ICOA needs 10 working days to approve. • January 19, 2017: Design completed and provided to ICOA for approval.
