The issues related to this position are highly technical, fast paced, ever-changing, and complex. This position deals frequently with daily operational issues and challenges within DHS and the community. Responsibilities 1. Perform and participate in incident handling processes such as incident discovery, analysis and verification, incident tracking, containment and recovery, incident response coordination, escalation and notification. 2. Augment and leader technical teams to perform computer forensics analysis on effected information systems. 3. Log and record all identified/reported security incidents and appropriately classify/prioritize based on defined procedures. 4. Identify gaps and recommend improvements to enterprise technology environment across all platforms, with a goal to enhance the overall security posture of the customer. 5. Produce technical and non-technical security documentation which will enhance internal and external business functions. 6.
