In addition, the candidate shall: Perform analysis of all scans, both standalone and enterprise, and prepare a written report of analysis for the agency. Assist ISSMs, ISSRs and ISSOs with analysis and interpretation of information system vulnerabilities identified. Conduct vulnerability scans in support of operational matters (non-scheduled). Support in the baseline compliance aspect of information systems and applications being accredited or reaccredited through the agencys C&A process. Maintain the inventory and software baseline of servers used to scan non-enterprise information systems and applications. This includes software upgrades and the planning of technical refresh. Provide training and training guides on the use of these servers and the use of Nessus or other vulnerability scanning applications and interpretation of scanning results. Support the security posture of the agency through analysis of vulnerabilities of systems that host critical information, such as common web application and databases (e.g., Internet Information Web Server, Apache Web Server, SQL Database Server, and Oracle Database Server). This area may also include evaluating underlying vulnerabilities within Unix-like operating systems. A minimum of 2 years experience in the following applications: Tenable Nessus/Tenable Security Center HP WebInspect DBProtect Must be able to be pass US Government Clearance processes Education and Experience Required: 3-5 years experience working in a risk management, audit, security or technical delivery role Bachelor or master degree in Computer Science, Computer Studies, Information Security (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Knowledge of the security and auditing regulations Exposure to audit and compliance programs Excellent and effective communication skills Ability to work effectively in diverse and virtual environments Self-motivated and tenacious Demonstrate sound judgment and integrity Ability to influence Delivery personnel in the execution of security and compliance requirements Preferred Skills: - CISSP, CISM/CISA or CRISC a plus - SANS GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) - GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) Knowledge and Skills Required: Experience in working with security management including information governance and compliance Good understanding of Assurance Practices and Risk Management, with hands on experience; Advanced experience with TCPIP/UDP/ICMP Windows/Linus/Unix operating systems Advanced experience with Networking components (routers, switches, load balancers, wireless access points, etc) Comprehensive knowledge of firewalls, proxies, mail servers and web servers Comprehensive knowledge of relational databases and structured query language Advanced experience with vulnerability assessments Comprehensive knowledge of malicious code (worms, viruses, spyware, etc) Experience of security processes and standards, in particular ISO27001 Knowledge of security audit and accreditation processes Ability to adapt to new security environments/culture IF YOUR CONTRACTOR IS SELECTED, THEY CANNOT START WORK UNTIL A WORK ORDER IS CREATED AND THEIR ORDER IS IN CONFIRMED STATUS.
