This position will manage assessment engagement and will ensure Cyber Security and HPE business teams are knowledgeable of requirements, are actively engaged in projects to address gaps and are working toward remediation and closure of gap. The ideal candidate must have expert abilities to understand and interpret Legal, Regulatory and contractual compliance requirements across multiple industries and regions focusing on Data & Network Security and Privacy. This individual will require subject matter expertise and be able to make informed inputs based on project and technology related risk mitigation. The candidate will be responsible for communicating with senior business managers and HP business teams on relative risks to HP & ensuring risk remediation plans are developed & executed. Only candidates with extensive knowledge of cyber security and privacy trends, auditing, regional and regulatory requirements as well as risk and compliance practices will be considered. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate and perform security compliance reviews; evaluate and create remediation plans; monitor the completion of remediation plans; create, update and maintain the accuracy of the corporate compliance repository. Interpret and summarize results of the risk assessment and create report with actions plans to remediate risk or document compensating controls to mitigate risk and communicate to executive management and senior business managers. Provide expertise in current industry trends in information risk and security standards and best practices. Provide inputs, guidance and expertise in the annual review and update/drafting of standards, policies and procedures for compliance activities. Monitor the completion of remediation plans by HPE business units and suppliers; provide direction and work in close partnership with business managers and technology teams for consistent and prompt implementation of risk remediation plans. Assess and communicate security control strengths and weaknesses with various stakeholders. Stay current with industry trends relating to Information Security. Assist with the governance of key regulatory and compliance initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Information Security, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related curriculum. 5+years of experience in IT security audit, compliance, risk assessment, and IT security experience. Communicate and interact effectively with all levels of associates, customers, and vendors. Profession certification required (CISSP, CISA, GSEC, or equivalent). Demonstrated experience with one or more security control standards or regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001/2, COBIT, NIST, HIPAA, PCI, etc.). Perform multiple tasks meeting critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality. Superior analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities.
