Support, install, and configure, complex network and system security technologies and products such as firewalls (network, application, database), VPNs , Intrusion prevention systems and identity management systems. JOB DUTIES – INCLUDES PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ONLY Establish and enforce logical security standards, controls and programs as well as participate in new system builds and projects as a security consultant and assist in designing large scale WAN/LAN networks and their security subsystems. JOB REQUIREMENTS • Create and maintain operational guidelines and processes to directly support Fiservs security architecture and design. • Support new and existing security solutions and partner with the security and compliance team for the implementation and integration of any new enhancements made to existing security solutions in support of improving overall enterprise security. • Ensure security tools and solutions hardware/software/devices are operating effectively and updated in a timely manner. • Develop and maintain operating guidelines and procedures in support of Fiservs policies, standards and guidelines. • Determine appropriate levels of security configuration, controls and monitoring. • Use appropriate and effective measures to respond to network security alerts. • Support the deployment of new security solutions in multiple data centers. • Oversee the execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits as requested. • Support incident management processes and security monitoring alerts in preventing internal / external hackers from compromising Fiservs data and assets. • Understand the latest hacker techniques and propose appropriate countermeasures, configurations and awareness. • Supply remote access technologies to internal/external users. • Overall central management of web filtering and related quarterly reporting. • Work with members of all BU and technology staff to support the enterprise approach to security. • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data residing on or transmitted to/from/through enterprise networks. Perform ticket queue monitoring, resolution and prioritization, maintain diagrams and documentation as appropriate and support firewall rule set reviews, auditing and maintenance activities ESSENTIONAL POSITION FUNCTIONS EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE . Education: Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Management Information Systems or Risk Management.
