In order to show progress and visibility the CJIS team needs a Senior Application Development Manager to ensure the following work is performed: Specific Services Required * Overseeing the coordination and delivery of all application development activities and deliverables. * Being knowledgeable on all facets of System Development Methodology (SDM) and assisting the CISS delivery team with SDM compliance for CJIS activities. * Creating and executing project work plans and revising them as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. * Identifying resources required to meet the project schedule and assigning individual responsibilities. * Responsible for managing, staffing and helping in the technical development skills of the team * Ensuring deliverables prepared by the team are complete and accurate prior to releasing them to the user community. * Overseeing development and execution of the system and user test plans and assisting in the coordination of the user acceptance testing. * Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. * Effectively enforcing project standards. * Developing mitigation strategies to minimize exposure and risk on the project. * Providing regular reports on the health of the project, including performance against the budget, adherence to the project schedule, and performance of individual team members. * Work with the Product and QA teams to ensure effective and on-time delivery * Attending and participating in all phase-end decision-point meetings.
