The Senior Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, delivery, support, and execution of a wide range of Customer Collaboration / Contact Center Enterprise demonstrations and labs which will be available for both internal and external audiences. The person in this role will be responsible for Planning, design, developing, implementing, and troubleshooting demonstrations and labs with responsibilities including design, use cases, documentation, ordering, and project communication. Project Management Collaboration 15% Identify and prioritize all project related tasks. Ability to organize, strategize and communicate project goals, objectives and tasks at all levels of the organization. Content Engineering 50% Inventory, rack, cable and configure all Solution components, switches, routers, modules, appliances and servers that support customer demonstration and lab models. Draft, test and troubleshoot content documentation. Work as the liaison to the operations team to resolve issues identified during the development and testing process, providing technical support and making design recommendations for fixes. Provide schematics as required of design concepts aiding in the build and troubleshooting of customer demonstrations. Platform Design 20% Must properly document and plan all projects prior to entering project build phase. Candidate must be well versed in the use of standard design templates and tools (Visio, ppt, MS Project). Support 10% Provide technical support to level 1 & 2 support engineers, Program Managers and others ensuring that demonstrations are in working order. Test and replicate issues on the support row as required. Log into remote sites, test and apply fixes as required. Make recommendations to on-site support staff to negate future demonstration disruptions. Track and log escalations effectively. Other 5% Maintain lab by documenting support networks and changes. Support development engineers as required. Plan, present and implement recommendations on lab changes. Attend meetings. Make training recommendations. Other responsibilities as assigned. Senior level Engineer Knowledge of Collaboration and Unified Communications Solutions. Demonstrated, in-depth working knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6, including VLSM. Deep understanding of Cisco IOS, including the latest code revisions, upgrading/downgrading firmware and the CLI, and configuring Voice Gateways: H323, SIP, SCCP, MGCP. Demonstrated, in-depth expert leve knowledge and experience in the design, implementation, and management of a UCCE/PCCE environment including but not limited to the following products and/or solutions: ICM, CVP, EIM/WIM, CUIC, Finesse, Social Miner, Custom Database interactions, Custom development of desktop application, Custom Report Development, and Speech Self Service Applications using CVP and Nuance. Must have expert level implementation experience using CVP Vxml Applications and Studio Must have expert level CVP Infrastructure deployment experience with ICM/UCCE/PCCE.
