Description:

Summary:
The main function of a Developer (Service Now) is to design, develop, and implement applications using in-demand languages and technologies (e.g. - WebSphere, Informatica etc.) to support business requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications.
Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution.
Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area.
Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.
Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner.
Candidate will be migrating legacy data from GIL into ServiceNow.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required 2-4 years experience required.
Development experience in needed language or technology (e.g. - WebSphere, Informatica etc.) Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large-scale projects from end-to-end Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC.

Required Skills:
Working experience with ServiceNow CMDB.
ServiceNow experience architecting, deploying applications, building out catalog items/workflows, and configuring integrations.
Experience with Configuration, customization, reconciliation, data migration of the ServiceNow Asset. Management and ServiceNow Software Asset Management module.
CMDB, CI Relationship, CI Attribute configuration/customization.
Experience in developing workflows, integrations using Orchestration module.
Development of ServiceNow custom applications from inception to completion in order to automate and improve processes.
Experience in developing the site concept, interface design, and architecture of web applications in ServiceNow.
Experience with ServiceNow development, including core ITSM tables, Glide, scripting, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom apps, and development methods using Now Platform App Engine.
Experience in writing scripts using JavaScript Engine, Angular.
Experience in writing HTML/CSS.
Experience in working with REST API development.
Experience with ServiceNow portal such as design and development of graphical interface within ServiceNow Service Portal.
Experience with implementing scripted Web services in ServiceNow, jQuery, or Prototype libraries, Java, and CMDB or asset integrations in ServiceNow.
Web Service Integration SOAP, JSON, Scripted REST web service APIs.
Experience in configuring/customizing Client Software distribution (CSD) module.
Use of import sets for loading data from external file or database to the ServiceNow.
Experience with SNOW dashboard, reporting, performance analytics
