In addition, the team is responsible for onboarding new agencies, gathering requirements for new features, partnering with agency customers to determine and scope out solutions to their web and data business needs, and creating training and documentation for new development. Over the next two years we will be working on a project to replatform on Drupal 8. Position Summary: As the Solutions Analyst for the GeorgiaGov Interactive web platform, you will be working with a small team to translate customer requirements to technical requirements for the states enterprise Drupal platform. As part of a web product team dedicated to problem-first solutions development, you will become an expert in the functionality and offerings of the platform, and use that knowledge to drive solutions for state customers. The solutions analyst will meet with customers to gather requirements, review web analytics, write business documentation, and write testing scenarios for the testing team. You may serve as the primary or secondary point of contact for a variety of projects to assist in customer business needs analysis, and work with customers to find technical solutions to their business needs. You will be our clients expert and champion on how the system should work, keeping an eye on what is being developed and ensuring that it is on target and easy to use by the targeted end users. The best candidate is someone with a background in Drupal development and planning, and a passion for designing user-focused solutions to business problems. You should keep yourself updated with industry trends and best practices and translate that to how we as a state can lead by example within the realm of web solutions. You are a team player, and enjoy working closely with others to report, research, and explore solutions to challenges. Responsibilities Include: Participate in customer requirements gathering and discovery meetings Share best practices and consult with clients throughout duration of the project Participate in training design, documentation and delivery efforts in concert with the Training and Support Specialist Act as an intermediary between state customers and external vendors to champion user-first product delivery Lead project discovery meetings with the customer Participate in internal projects as needed Required Skills / Experience: The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in customer requirements gathering and documentation. Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast moving environment. Knowledge of web-based content management systems architecture, background with Drupal 7 and 8 preferred. Knowledgable in user-first design methodologies, and able to speak to best practices in web dev Ability to collect, evaluate, and compress data and information from multiple sources, resolve conflicts and differentiate between actual and required user needs Deliver results after thorough research of functional needs by collaborating and communicating with customers and site users Ability to understand customer business requirements and translate them to specific requirements Ability to communicate effectively in writing at a   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
