This position will report to the Functional Lead and will be the primary resource for managing, overseeing, monitoring and troubleshooting the financial operations of PACSS. Primary Responsibilities • Monitoring daily operations and verifying that financial transactions are completed successfully in the system • Troubleshooting and defining financial system problems • Supporting the nightly batch process to solve/correct any financial errors • Assisting the project team in the evaluation and prioritization of bugs and/or enhancements related to the financial components of the system • Coordinating with the system test team to define and execute tests of the financial system • Providing daily/weekly/monthly financial reports as requested • Works with agency financial staff to answer questions, create reports and provide insight on PACSS financial system REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): (SEE BEELINE DESCRIPTION) • 4+ YEARS EXPERIENCE SUPPORTING CHILD SUPPORT FINANCIAL SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES • THOROUGH KNOWLEDGE OF CHILD SUPPORT FINANCIAL SYSTEM CONCEPTS, PROCESSES AND RELATED FEDERAL REQUIREMENTS • A STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF THE BASICS OF FINANCIAL OPERATIONS, FROM RECEIPTS TO DISBURSEMENTS TO RECONCILIATION • ABILITY TO ANALYZE, RESEARCH AND VALIDATE FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS AND ACTIVITY IN CHILD SUPPORT SYSTEM • ABILITY TO USE MS OFFICE, SHAREPOINT, AND WEBEX TOOLS EFFECTIVELY • ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE (ORALLY AND WRITTEN) EFFECTIVELY WITH TECHNICAL, NON-TECHNICAL STAFF, CUSTOMERS/STAKEHOLDERS (STATE AND FEDERAL) AND EXECUTIVES PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): (SEE BEELINE DESCRIPTION) • TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED TO EXTRACT DATA AND CREATE AD-HOC REPORTS • UNDERSTANDING OF AGILE OR ITERATIVE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT METHODOLOGIES • UNDERSTANDING OF MS TESTING TOOLS AND CONCEPTS TO ASSIST PROJECT TEST TEAM REQUIRED EDUCATION: • BS DEGREE   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
