This .Net Developer will work alongside a diverse team of senior software developers in development and support of flagship portfolio management systems. The candidate must have a proven track record in delivering modern and scalable architecture solutions for advanced web applications with sufficient business domain knowledge of the investment industry. This role will involve working intimately with leading edge technology to deliver a desktop level application experience via a web application. It will require excellent technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, team collaboration, and the ability to learn and adapt quickly. Responsibilities: Assume the responsibilities of a software developer handling development tasks associated with delivering leading edge Portfolio Investment utilities along with a global team. Design and develop functionality across client tier, middle tier, and application backend while working with and improving existing architecture. Work with Angular, C#, .net core, microservices, SQL, MongoDB, and GitLab technology as a core focus. Collaborate heavily with existing team in areas of expertise while focusing on teamwork, offering innovative ideas, and joint solution finding. Implement, follow, and tightly abide by best practices throughout the SDLC to ensure minimal rework, application performance, and maintainability of the end product. Requirements: 7+ years of full stack experience in the technology industry 2+ years of direct experience with Angular and Microservice delivery patterns. Must have worked with and implemented the technology. Developing past POCs or having taken training courses does not qualify as sufficient experience. 5+ years of experience with C#/.Net or related technology and SQL Server 2+ years of experience with JS, HTML5, CSS, SASS, LESS or related web technologies 2+ years of experience in Fintech. Specific experience developing in-house investment or portfolio systems in support of investment business processes highly desired. Intimate knowledge of vendor related platforms such as Aladdin, Calpyso, Thinkfolio, Mysis Summit highly desired. Prior Experience with the following technologies highly desired: Dapper, .net Core, NgRX, GitLab, MongoDB, Redis, Jenkins, Visual Studio, TFS, Bower, Gulp, NodeJS, Signal-R, SSIS, SSRS, Autosys, and WCF Excellent comprehension, communication, and analytical skills are a must. Self-driven and motivated with a strong work ethic are a must. BA/BS/MS in related engineering or financial field. Financial, Project management, and technical certifications a plus.
