He/she will be tasked with creating a web form to be placed on our internet site to collect health information, validate the form using web services, and then save the data to the back end systems via web services. Requirements: * The ability to work independently, with little support or guidance other than written instruction, is crucial. There will be requirements and design documents upon the arrival of the selected candidates, but there will not be frequent meetings, check-ins, etc. Which leads to the next point… * Communication skills — particularly written — are an important consideration. This is a very fast-paced team and consultants will need to be able to communicate quickly and clearly, both in writing and verbally, in order to keep up. Most directions will come via email. * This is a short-term project with no planned follow-up work or extensions. However, we will be working hard and fast, and our bar is very high, so I would not be surprised if the candidates are A-list people between larger projects. * All work must be done on-site in the VB office. Remote work is not authorized. * Maximum of 40 hours a week can be billed, but the schedule can be flexible: for example, consultants can work 4 10-hour days if they want. They can come in between 6am and 10am and leave between 3pm and 7pm. I do ask for consistency and predictability, however, and no more than 40 hrs a week. * Candidates need to commit to be here for the duration of the project.
