The role translates business and creative requirements into functional requirements to enable development of web content solutions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides input in the creative design, writing, development, and implementation process of web content; including web page layout / visual presentation, template creation, web site navigation, SEO, Social Media and analytics tagging and tracking. Provides content management and daily maintenance of web content. Ensures compliance with brand guidelines and collaborates with business partners to improve the look/feel of websites. Works with other team members and/or serves as project leader to develop project plans, content strategies, and technology assessments. Analyzes websites to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of online content. Determines best methods, processes, designs to help increase traffic to sites. Responsible for maintaining creative standards through consistent process and continuous improvement. Helps to develop and implement better production systems through research and further education. Collaborates with team members on cross-functional initiatives and coordinate the integration of creative and technical elements into a final content presentation. Troubleshoots and fixes bugs related to content and system integration issues. Provides guidance, as needed, to other functional resources related to troubleshooting system integration issues. Develop and maintain an expertise in browser, device and OS functionality, and apply knowledge in design of websites and in consultation with other project members. Performs other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education: Undergraduate studies in business, graphic design, computer science or related technical field is preferred. Experience: Typically 5 or more years working experience in an internet production environment. Experience working on an enterprise eCommerce system desired. Experience with a content management or web publishing system preferred. Experience with a content management or templating system such as SDL Tridion, Drupal, Sharepoint, WordPress, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or ExactTarget Proven knowledge of web development programs on PC windows computing platform such as Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Animate, Adobe Illustrator. Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery and testing across multiple browsers, devices and platforms Experience coding responsive websites is helpful Experience with video applications/players such as SDL Media Manager, Kaltura, and YouTube. Experience with analytics software such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Webtrends or Ensighten Some knowledge of iterative (Agile) and waterfall (ESDM) project management methodologies preferred Ability to understand and develop business requirements in regards to Internet and content management. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to prioritize and schedule production requests. Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act tactically. Ability to analyze and resolve publishing/production issues. Ability to develop and communicate publishing options and alternatives with content writers and producers.
