Manages successful completion of small to medium size cross-functional projects through design, testing and implementation. Provides technical expertise in evaluating and developing creative web solutions that are cost effective and meet user requirements and business needs. Ensures website remains consistent with organizational goals by adhering to development standards. Leads system and user acceptance testing and implementation of enhancements and fixes. Provides web application consultation to business partners. Responsibilities include design, development, & testing (SDLC) of e-commerce, self-managing, community, and related websites across all websites. Drive and lead discussions and initiatives related improving the experience, usability, latest web technologies, prototype development, etc., Ability to work with multiple departments within the organization such as marketing, analysts, web graphic designers, vendors, and content professionals. This is not a web graphic designer role but a top tier web developer role who will work side by side with graphic designers in architecting and engineering the web front-end. At times may lead/supervise the work of other individual(s) assigned to the project(s) within the team to insure the accountability for goals, objectives, and operational policies are achieved. This position is a multi-incumbent and reports to a supervisor or manager. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience with the following skillset: - Expert on client-side programming (HTML5 a must), CSS (includes CSS 3), Java Script, and web browser nuances. - HTML5 expert - PHP - expert - CSS 2.0/3.0 expert (Understand/Code/troubleshoot heavily used CSS (includes CSS3) applications and also cross browser compliance) - Java Script expert (Understand/Code /troubleshoot heavily used java script applications; mobile jQuery; objects) - Expert in using jQuery is a must and also good understanding of other Java Script libraries - AJAX expert - JSON expert - Java/JSP basic knowledge and understanding - Coding in a JavaScript oriented environments with solid expertise in designing/architecting Ajax oriented user-experiences - Good understanding of flash, action script. - Knowledge of e-commerce applications such as Oracles ATG e-commerce COTS applications. - Understanding of 508 compliance (including degradable coding practices) - Strong understanding of client/server code integration, including best practices in what functionality should run where general understanding of server-side programming practices and n-tiered architecture. - Ability to think outside of the box and to adapt quickly to change. - Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage your time across multiple projects. - General understanding of website design and information architecture - Ability to create/modify/review the technical design documents. - Ability to work independently as a senior professional and capable of working nights and weekends when necessary as it pertains to web projects and web release support. - Experience on Google APIs, Bing APIs, etc. PLEASE UNDERSTAND: - Position will require working some late nights and weekends during web project releases for deployment support and troubleshooting. - Position will require working late nights and weekends during web project releases and program launches and troubleshooting.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
