Scheduled weekend work will also be required from time-to-time to meet business needs. GENERAL DESCRIPTION Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills at the System Engineer level. Sufficient technical depth to communicate with business and other internal IS Groups at a peer level. Possess the ability to work independently with minimal management supervision and as part of nationwide team of engineers. Be confident and actively participating in team support by proposing and implementing solutions. Ability and confidence in creating roadmaps, making system recommendations and providing excellent customer support. Written and oral communication skills are required. Ability to create clear and concise documentation. WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 3+ years experience administering windows operating system servers. Experience configuring Group Policy Objects to secure a Windows infrastructure. A solid working knowledge and demonstrated technical proficiency in installing, troubleshooting and resolving problems using Microsoft products. 3+ years experience deploying and maintaining a Citrix published desktop environment. Experience working with Internet Information Services, FTP, VMware, and Citrix. Experience in recommending hardware solutions to support application requirements. Experience recommending, procuring, installing and troubleshooting server hardware components such as Fiber, Network cards, disk drives, memory, etc. Experience in applying firmware upgrades to hardware and patches to MS Operating system software. Experience working with various levels of technical individuals at remote locations to resolve problems or in implementing new servers.
