Provide analysis, documentation, support and advice on DevOps/AWS: Cloud / Linux Systems Security Containerization Architecture Big Data Develop and organize AWS cloud systems. Design, configure, manage, and maintain the deployment and operations in Amazon EC2, AWS, VPC, S3, and other AWS services Serve as a technical authority to routinely review technical architecture, application code, database scripts, and build scripts to confirm they are following best practices and agency guidance to achieve optimal performance and use of our budget. Provide ongoing administration and support for Linux (RHEL and CentOS) systems Provide day-to-day support of applications and services, resolve functional and performance issues Be a part of development team to create practical solutions in Agile environment Support a large federal government big data program in DevOps-related and supporting tasks working with a team of diverse engineers and administrators. Aide in maintaining software configuration management tools to support Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) project aspects. Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and cross team collaboration efforts to improve operational efficiency. Work effectively in a fast-paced multitasking environment, both collaboratively and independently with limited direction, and with remote teams. Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree & 8+ years of experience in Cloud/DevOps Engineering & Architecture. Additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Must be a certified AWS Certified Solution Architect – Associate or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate, OR willing to obtain independently w/n 90 days of employment. Must have 4+ years of hands on experience in AWS cloud infrastructure including VPC, DirectConnect, VPC Peering, ELB, Subnet, API Gateway, S3, EC2, EKS, Lambda, Route53, ELB/ALB, VPC, IAM Roles and Policies, SQS, SNS, SES Must have experience in migration of mainframe applications to AWS and scripting Terraform templates for Federal Environments. 6 or more years of experience in production operations settings SAFe and cloud environments.
