Required Skills; * Prior Mainframe Development Experience in COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM * Trace and document data flows by reading & analyzing JCL, COBOL programs, CICS definitions, IBM and 3rd party utility control cards * Experience with Easytrieve/Dyl280/Culprit type programs, and other common mainframe data manipulation processes * Extracting and documenting Business Rules embedded in COBOL (CICS and Batch) programs, Data structures (VSAM/GDG/Flat File), third party utilities * Document Business Requirements * Document Functional Specifications * Create a document describing the data transformation for every data element over a specific period of time (daily, weekly, monthly) * Defining and documenting existing Business Processes * Generate visually appealing diagrams using Visio that describe the data flow and transformations at a micro and macro level * Accurately prepare written correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
