Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics: This resource is being brought on to help with the increased workflow from the Self-Distribution project across Delhaize. They are standing up multiple new distribution centers across different locations so need Mainframe develop to help with additional workload. Will be building interfaces in and out of Walker ERP for distribution centers. Responsible for new coding as well as modifying existing code to add new processes, etc. Must be able to write Technical Design Docs and Functional Design docs and work with the business to identify needs. They are moving to SAP as a company, so future work may involve interfaces of Walker into SAP, etc. Need to be able and willing to learn Walker ERP on the job.
