Technical skills required: COBOL, JCL, and Endevor. Prefer the candidate has at least 3-4 years of experience with utilities CIS billing and credit functions but other CIS experience will be considered. Familiarity with Agile practices a plus. Candidate should be very organized, able to work independently, and feel comfortable in making decisions. Candidate will work with a variety of individuals and must have good communication skills that match audience. Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to a project lead or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Associates Degree in Computer Science of IT Software Developer experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of IT Software Developer experience.
