General experience with SEC Rule 17a3/a4, NASD, records management, archival systems, WORM storage a plus. Experience in programming, supporting corporate data extraction / ETL and ingestion efforts beneficial. Expected Responsibilities: Responsible for planning, design, and implementation of Content Management solutions pertaining to the ASG/Mobius product suite within a Middleware and Utilities Engineering oraganization. Develop technology services in cooperation with the service delivery managers and requisite technology teams. Leverages knowledge of infrastructure analysis, capacity planning, and product analysis and develops cost/business case justifications. Develops and coordinates plans for periodic penetration, disaster recovery and audit testing/evaluation of all utility services. Uses prescribed formats to produce management reports and engineering and architectural documentation to support the requirements of the position. Advise on solutions for managing report ingestion and management for enterprise applications. Work closely with application and business representatives on statement generation and presentment activities. Networks with colleagues and senior personnel on a regular basis, in own area of expertise, to resolve issues, gain needed information and influence outcomes for group. Participates on functional and business unit project teams. Gains cooperation and commitment to take action from colleagues, management, customers and external contacts as needed. Contributes to decisions and projects that have a moderate impact to the organization. Normally receives little instruction on work activities and general instruction on new assignments. May lead projects and make decisions that have moderate to significant impact on the business. Responsibilities: This position will support the operational requirements for a production infrastucture implemented in 2011, including Oracle database servers and /Mobius servers with interfaces to SharePoint and external systems via GenTran file transfers. This position will be expected to provide day-to-day operational support for the production environment and assist with the implementation of new workstreams. Additional responsibilities include: - Ensure that server and application software is kept current, performing upgrades as needed - Ensure that daily extracts have been successfully captured and indexed. - Train staff how to use the repository to retrieve retained data. - Consult on search strategies, troubleshooting retrieval and other application-related issues. - Serve as custodian of repository data. - Receive and process Records Preservation Hold requests. - Support SEC-mandated independent third party access testing. Suggested Experience & Qualifications: Work Experience: 5+ years progressive working experience with ASGs /Mobius software products and related host server platforms. Demonstrated experience designing system architectures and implementing related solutions. Experience creating, troubleshooting and supporting multi-site, multi-tier system environments, and corporate Data Center facilities. Experience supervising teams of technology professionals desired. Educational Background: BS or technical institute degree in Computer Science or the equivalent combination of education, technical designations and work experience. More than 5 years of related experience in IT functions. Excellent knowledge of IT engineering and its role in supporting business applications.
