Details of Position: Responsibilities include the analysis, design, coding and testing of system enhancements and fixes. Skills include an advanced knowledge of MF tools, Cobol, MVS, DB2, MQ and JCL Strong analytical and programming skills. Management Skills: Candidate must have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science/related discipline or the equivalent in education and work experience. Candidate must also have 5-8+ years experience in systems analysis and application programming development. Familiarity with all phases of the software development life cycle. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment with other developers, QA personnel, and user representatives. Must have excellent oral communication skills to interact with users and other team members. Must have excellent written communication skills to be able to write concise and understandable project documentation and other technical materials. Should have a working knowledge of MS Office products.
