Modification efforts include federal projects mandated by CMS for the Social Security Number Removal Initiative (SSNRI) and the Payment Error Rate Measurement (PERM) project. SCOPE OF WORK The Contractor will provide weekly status reports to the DDS Cost Recovery Section Manager. The contractor will program in COBOL batch and on-line/CICS and NATURAL/ADABAS, under IBM Z/OS, using TSO/ISPF, JCL utilities, VSAM files and Microsoft Office. Contractor must adhere to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology. Duties Include: 1. Program in COBOL batch. 2. Program in COBOL/CICS online. 3. Program in NATURAL/ADABAS. 4. Conduct analysis as required to accomplish the coding assignments. 5. Document program, data flow, and related processes. 6. Test modifications using debug tools as listed in Section IV. 7. Work with file manipulation tools as listed in Section IV. 8. Work with business customers to help with requirements definitions. 9. Work with business customers to explain the achieved solution. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Contractor personnel must possess excellent technical skills in the following areas with a minimum of 10 years of experience: 1. COBOL coding and processing in Batch and On-line (CICS) modes. 2. Z/OS and/or MVS Operating System. 3. IBM mainframe utilities (e.g., IDCAMS, IEBGENER, SYNCSORT, FTP, etc.) 4. TSO/ISPF and JCL. 5. VSAM file structures 6. SDLC and testing methodology. 7. Microsoft Office Products (e.g., Excel, Visio, Power Point, Word, etc.) 8. IBM PD Tools (e.g., Debug, File Manager, Fault Analyzer) in lieu of #7. 9. NATURAL coding with ADABAS file structure. PROFESSIONAL ABILITIES 1. Ability to adapt changing priorities. 2. Ability to multitask and produce deliverables within short time frames. 3. Ability to assist customers in identifying data reporting needs. 4. Ability to help co-workers in solving complex issue in a small group or on a one to one base. 5. Ability to document work throughout SDLC according to industry standards. 6.
