Programming and/or database experience required. Experience using GMC PrintNet preferred, but not required. Experience in the personalization industry preferred. RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Analyze source data and identify relationships (ASCII and EBCDIC/COBOL source files) ? Import / Define source file layouts and fields for both EBCDIC and ASCII type data. ? Define and build integration and transformation logic from sources to composed output for personalized documents. Complete other duties as assigned ? Under general supervision, analyze and determine conversion requirements and provide conversion specifications to programming. ? Provide consultation to the client before, during and after conversion, including the development of new department procedures the conversion may necessitate. ? Interpret clients existing systems and workflows through and including the balancing of conversion data. ? Communicate progress and any potential problems to manager for awareness and/or resolution. ? Maintain the tools used to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the conversion process (system studies, questionnaires). ? Provide training to the client before, during and after conversion, including the correct use of the Fiserv system and on-line terminal assistance, as well as daily application balancing procedures. FUNCTIONAL AREA SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE: ? A strong knowledge of PC-based COBOL, preferably NetExpress ? --or-- ? A strong knowledge of GMC PrintNet or other ETL experience ? ? A reasonable knowledge of SQL and relational databases. ? Two years of experience defining integration logic and data transformation rules. ? Personalization industry experience is desired. ? Experience designing enterprise wide solutions ? The ability to interact with external and internal clients for the purpose of data gathering and discovery ? Strong organizational skills ?
