The overarching goals are to: • Support client Modernization awareness. Initially, the services will focus on creating content for online communications to internal employees and key stakeholders, extending to external audiences as the program evolves. • Educate staff and other audiences about technology changes in general. • Communications that support the move rom the old system to a modernized system. Under the direction of the DPFS Communications Manager, Worker will: • Provide strategic and tactical communications planning related to IMPACT Modernization and other technology. • Provide communications coordination among various offices and programs. • Provide content development for a variety of communciations through DFPS websites, social media, newsletters, and other online communication channels. • Manage and update DFPS Technology Communications Plan as the project evolves, with frequent checkpoints to ensure the strategy is delivering on the results/objectives stated in the plan. • Convene, coordinate, and facilitate a technology editorial committee. • Assure that all IMPACT Modernization and technology communications are on target, accurate, coordinated, efficient, and effective. Required Skills: * Ability to develop communication materials for large technology projects * Ability to develop and manage communication plans for large technology initiative * Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff (staff to executive levels) to facilitate communication activities and planning * Experience and skills with organizational change management and change readiness practices Experience working with other communications and training teams within a large organization Desired Skills: * Strong writing skills with an emphasis on plain language and the ability to target a variety of audiences with communications specific to their charateristics, needs, and interests * Skilled in mediating groups with conflicting and competing business requirements   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
