Note: Email Submission Submission Deadline: 12/4/2020 12:00 PM PST Start Date: 12/14/2020 End Date: 6/30/2021 Client: Department of Licensing (DOL) Description: Work Requirements The Project Manager contract position services (in partnership with other resources) may include, but are not limited to: • Development of Project Charters and Plans • Project Schedule • Budget Management • Resource Planning • Weekly written Project Status Reports • Project presentations development and delivery • Project documentation monitoring and synchronization • Project team meetings management • Project communications • Project Issue / Risk Definition and Resolution • Team and staff task assignments • Management of meetings identified Preferred Experience Requirements • The candidate should have extensive, demonstrated experience working with Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions hosted on-premises, maintaining good working relationship with vendor counter parts, DOL service lines functional units (developers, business analysts, testers, governance team bridging between production support and business units, other projects PMs) on a daily basis during the length of project. • The candidate should be able to implement best industry practices on project management successfully implementing medium to large scoped projects spanning between 6 months to one year. • The candidate should have thorough knowledge on risk management to identify and address risk with proper mitigation plans. • The candidate should be able to produce required reports to the leadership teams on a timely basis. • The candidate should be flexible enough to follow the current team processes/procedures in place as defined by DOL and Vendor teams. • The candidate should have excellent experience to facilitate the meetings as required and should coordinate with DOL other functional units like Infrastructure, Application Support, Data Management, Field Support who support for successful implementation of the project. • The candidate should be able to define the implementation/post implementation stabilization plans/strategies collaborating with all required functional units. • The candidate should have excellent verbal/written communication/documentation skills.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
