The IT Architect Senior will connect the IT technology strategy to the business unit strategy to produce a long-term combined view and ensure project alignment with other projects. Responsibilities include gathering, investigating and analyzing user requirements for business processes and/or technical systems; conceptual design of implementation strategies on assigned projects; preparation of resource estimates, evaluations and recommendations; and develop and maintain necessary documentation of systems, projects and/or processes to ensure understanding of system details. This position requires advanced communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Also required is a excellent mixture of technical and business skills. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Examine and evaluate current business processes and tasks, and develops ideas for improvement Convert knowledge and ideas into better ways of doing business or into new or improved products and services Access and recommend new technologies Formulates actions and processes to support the defined goals and objectives of the business unit and organization Plan, manage, and execute a project to ensure that the product or services are produced according to specifications, on time and within budget Identify, control and manage the impact of uncertain harmful events on the project and the project deliverables Use diagrams to help discover, communicate and understand the problem being solved and develop the software solution Use patterns as a fundamental structural organization schema for software systems Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical behavior and support the Companys Corporate Compliance Policy Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned Contract: 18 months or longer   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
