Job Description Manager: Banner 11G Upgrade, Oracle WebLogic And Fusion, DBA, System Administrator

[Note : START DATE: 3-26-12 with Extensions]

[Note : ESTIMATED BUDGET:$39,600]

Scope of the project:
Client is seeking additional support to assist the college with the implementation of oracle 11g platform and upgrade of banner environment to support the new database release. In addition to database upgrade, hgtc is seeking assistance with the migration of banners administrative and self-service environments to weblogic platforms.
Responsibilities:
Provide remote dba and systems administration services to deploy oracle 11g database and migrate banner database, inb and ssb environments to 11g and weblogic platform. Update current procedures and process manuals to reflect the updated routines, commands and operations. Provide knowledge transfer to hgtc staff with the updated procedures and best practices in the new environment. Support hgtc staff with production implementation and post implementation support as requested.
Required skills:
• Banner 11g upgrade experience
• Oracle weblogic and fusion middleware implementation experience
• Experience with banner 11g upgrade in at least 3 colleges/universities of similar size to hgtc
• Experience with providing remote dba and sys admin support services to banner
Required education:
• High school diploma
Preferred skills:
• Banner erp
• Oracle 11g
• Luminis
• Weblogic
• Implementation of inb and ssb on weblogic platform
• Knowledge of hgtc/sc colleges and custom modifications
