They are looking for this candidate to have experience involved an Active Directory migration. It is a 6 to 9 month contract. This position is for a Sr Active Directory Engineer with 7-10 years experience working with Active Directory to manage/support ~3,000 accounts/clients. Candidate should have expert knowledge with Active Directory and peripherals as outlined below. Strong working knowledge of Active Directory 2008, 2010 Design/building/implementing Management Upgrades/Patching Strong working knowledge of Powershell commands/scripting VBScript experience a plus Strong working knowledge of User Lifecycle Account Creation ACLs Integrations with other systems Deprovisioning Strong working knowledge of group policies, DNS (monitoring, configuration and management), and IIS Strong working knowledge of domain trusts Strong knowledge of Operational Units management Strong knowledge of file and print systems Strong knowledge and ability to troubleshoot DFS DFS namespaces DFS replication Recommendations for system improvements/automation/optimization Server Health/Health Monitoring Strong knowledge of replication and configuration Disaster Recovery Experience with ADFS a plus Certificate administration a plus Escalation point for L1/L2 team members Work with other towers for troubleshooting and projects Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation ITIL knowledge a plus Participate in Disaster Recovery Planning/Testing Daily support and technical issue resolution primarily via e-mail and ticketing tools Create and maintain new and existing baselines, technical drawings Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, IT or related field or equivalent experience MCSE or MCITP a plus 7-10 years experience in Exchange and Active Directory Desired Skills Strong scripting skills of Windows Powershell Ability to take initiative and follow through Working knowledge of network infrastructure and operations Work closely with all team members Work closely with all towers Troubleshooting issues by checking Event/System logs in a clustered environment Strong communications skills both written and oral Broad and thorough knowledge and experience with complex scripting Working knowledge of backup methodologies Ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity Experience with Data Center operations Prior experience providing production support for highly available services Should be well versed in Best Practices for Active Directory Research and implement new technologies to improve the enterprise infrastructure Ability to be proactive and take initiative Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
