Familiar with and can work with SMEs representing: o Network Architecture and High Level Network Concepts – uses and implications of routers, firewalls, load balancers, VLANs, DNS, carrier technologies, monitoring, management o Voice Systems Architecture – purpose, function, use and interfaces to telephony, IVRs, and other Call/Contact Center support technologies o Data Architecture – tools and mechanisms for retro-documenting complex existing systems; cross-system data management; master data management; data sanitization; Business Intelligence; Data replication / Synchronization / Remote Access o Encryption and Key Management Technologies: network encryption, database managed data encryption, file-encryption, backup encryption, PKI (Public Key Infrastructure for key management o Directory Architecture – implementation of directories for authentication; single-sign on; ID policy management; multi-directory mapping o SOA Architecture – operating knowledge of SOA principles, ESB and Service Registry implications o System Level - highly virtualized environments; performance measurement and management; storage architectures and uses; engineering for reliability, availability, and performance o Business Architecture – how to organize or understand the organization of business units, and effectively map their functions, processes, and workflows to technologies o Testing Architecture – work with Test Leads/Managers to ensure effective system testing: unit; system; integration/SOA; performance; load/stress; · Analysis – can decompose and document complex systems and interactions e.g. “identify the parts and their relationships” · Synthesis – can recompose and reorganize decomposed systems e.g. “build from parts; define/redefine those parts” · Basic Project Management Awareness, especially planning, communication, and documenting · Basic Requirements Management Awareness – focus will increasingly be on tying solution elements back to voluminous requirements for traceability · HealthCare Systems awareness a major plus – does not need to be as specific as “Medicaid E&E” – Medicare, Medicare Advantage, or Commercial HealthCare systems are all equally instructive and useful Soft Skills · Strong American Business English writing/editing skills as applied to the technical skillset · Presentation Skills – ability to prepare and effectively execute an informal or formal presentation for practitioners through executives of: our business; other technology companies; out client, both technology and business side · Ability to identify and handle volatility and complex group interactions · Flexibility – stuff changes! · Ability to consume, manage, and produce widely varying scopes of information, from excruciating detail when required through summary content · Ability to discern when a team or team members are unknowingly not in agreement (or are not building the same mental models), and attempt to clarify the possible discrepancies   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
