IDEAL BACKGROUND: - Healthcare background - Experience in EMR (or some knowledge of the clinical domain) TOP REQUIREMENTS: - Past experience with Report testing - Strong QA skills. Ability to developing test strategy, test scenarios, coordinating test data setup, test execution and issue resolution - Familiar with Rally or similar agile project management tool - Ability to write and run SQL statements *** What experience will set candidates apart from one another? - Previous testing experience in a report development project - Experience with EMR - Having led a reporting test team will be an added benefit SOFT SKILLS: - Good communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively with product owners, developers, etc in an Agile environment - Strong leadership skills and ability to drive testing process - Mentor and direct other testers - Ability to bring in process improvements and testing best practices This person will be responsible for working with the Off-shore QA on daily work direction of junior testers as well as being the on-shore liaison for the off-shore testing team. This person will lead the estimation, resource planning, as well as select execution of various test phases including system, regression and integration testing with the onshore development teams and offshore testers. A successful candidate will have experience in the following areas: * Apply sound judgment in taking high level project requirements and distilling into estimates, timelines, and resource planning for testing efforts * Provide proactive leadership and work direction to offshore testers * Defect Triaging and prioritization and leading daily Defect reviews * Ensure that quality processes are carried out through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle * Work with business partners, systems analysts, designers and programmers to create/analyze required project documents and ensures that quality assurance processes are incorporated * Actively work with off-shore resources, both peers and managers * Comfortable working with an existing business function-driven test bed * Analyze and dissect system requirements and technical specifications to create and execute test cases for large business initiatives * Assist business analysts and users in defining System and User Acceptance Testing, scenarios, test cases and plans * Establish and maintain test cases and test data * When needed, perform test execution for projects requiring onshore testing or additional capacity * Support and participate in program level Software deployment schedule and manage checkout process * Create and maintain test cases in Rally * Actively participate in walk-through, Demos for user groups and internally with scrum team * Plan, document, evaluate and track testing results to ensure system applications are free from defects * Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and /or functionality * Comply with standards of the software development life cycle and follow strategies, plans and procedures within Information Technology software Required: * 8+ Years of IT QA experience with at least 3+ years of Lead experience * Experience with Testing Reports and dashboards * SQL skills * Data Structures including Data warehouse etc., * Worked on offshore onshore model * Experience preparing estimation for projects and define LOEs * Ability to Mentor junior resources/guide and lead resources * Previous experience developing testing scenarios and execution plans * Experience with Agile/Scrum * Experience with large Matrices project/pro   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
