Job Description : Data Modeler/Visualization Developer Job Description: Designs, deploys and manages systems, databases, business applications, and data relationships, content, and application to more effectively and efficiently manage the business operations. Serves as a primary contributor in the departments vision and implementation of the clients Business Intelligence program. Partners with colleagues and customers to guide development of enterprise Data Warehouse and reporting solutions. Maintains and supports a culture of compliance, ethics and integrity. Responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance with development practices in the business intelligence program. Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures and performs in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, external laws and accreditation standards as they relate to the BI department. Requirements: Eight years of information technology experience including a minimum of 4 years experience designing, deploying, and maintaining relational (conceptual, logical, physical) and dimensional data models for data warehouse/business intelligence. Intermediate to advanced Tableau Desktop. 2+ years of experience using Tableau 10.1+ and a total of 5 yrs of experience using general Tableau exp. 5 years experience of Design, develop, and maintain reports and multi-level dashboards in Tableau. Knowledge of best practices in data visualization. Shows creativity in creating visualizations which communicate effectively Experience developing content for and delivering training to others on the use of Tableau Experience using Tableau Server including troubleshooting Tableau Server issues and explaining Tableau Server functionality to business users Advanced Experience in excel, access. Extensive experience integrating disparate systems into conformed dimensions. Strong hands-on ERwin data modeling tool experience. Experience with a range of relational database management systems (RDBMS) (Oracle, Teradata, DB2, etc.) and RDBMS tuning.
