The position will be play an integral role in developing a system for tracking the scheduling, execution and results collection for CoB / Disaster Recovery (DR) testing of production applications. The candidate who is selected for this position will assist in developing an application based on a Microsoft SQL database (backend) that utilizes a SharePoint based user interface (front end). The candidate must have experience being in a fast-paced agile technology-based business environment. The position applies functional knowledge and technical expertise to help optimize the functional and technical design, development, and testing of the system/tool to ensure that it meets business & functionality requirements. Responsibilities: Develop SharePoint components (web parts, application pages, page layouts, etc.) for enterprise scale Portal, ECM, and Collaboration solutions · Participate in the creation, execution and documentation and functional requirements to ensure that delivered solutions meet the business requirements · Performing unit testing and integration testing Qualifications: · Competent in relational database theory, design rules and development practices, including data modeling, data flow and entity relationship analysis, data structure analysis, logical and physical database design, data access methods, storage capacity management and database recovery techniques. · Proficient in SQL, SharePoint and related skills: o Strong skills in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), with experience developing automated reporting. o 2 - 5 years of experience with Microsoft Access and VBA application development. · Hands-on experience working on component based applications in a distributed environment · Full software development lifecycle experience on large scale, scalable applications · 2+ years demonstrated strong knowledge and proficiency in the following: o SharePoint web parts development o SharePoint solution packaging o Business Connectivity Services o Service Oriented Architecture o .NET Framework (C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net) o Web content management o QA and testing procedures o SQL Server Administration, configuration and customization of SharePoint including developing and implementing custom and third-party Web Parts o Html and CSS o JavaScript o The SharePoint managed client object model o Silverlight and XAML o SharePoint REST APIs o Composite Applications - includes data access, user interface, processes, and infrastructure. · 2+ years technical lead experience in one or more of the following roles: o Web services development o Data access development o Application integration o Testing and Deployment o User interface design   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
