This position will be responsible for understanding and analyzing highly complex business & data requirements. Prepare detailed functional specifications that drive the design of data model and ETL solutions. This includes developing a broad understanding of the upstream and downstream systems and processes, including impact and gap analysis of current databases and reporting systems. It will perform data analysis using a variety of SQL tools to query major databases and provide technical assistance as subject matter expert in identifying, evaluating and developing data solutions that meet business requirements. Recommends data validation, systems testing, and provides post production support to the data quality processes. Required Skillset: . 5+ years experience as an analyst on data projects . Strong data analysis skills . Excellent verbal and written communication . Excellent time management skills . Experience in data warehousing . Strong understanding of data quality assurance processes and procedures . Experience in writing test plans for testing correctness of ETL processes and database contents .
