The Oracle BI Developer/ Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, development and deployment of BI and supporting tools including OBIEE/ODI and BI Apps. Activities: Customize and build complex ETL mappings using ODI. Interpret complex delivered multi-dimensional ETL maps. Oversee and/or assist in the design and development of multi-dimensional ETL maps and views. Performance tune ETL jobs, BI tools, sessions and queries. Participate in installation/ configuration of BI tools. Participate in definition of Security in Oracle BI tool. Develop reports, dashboards, and hierarchies and implement security using OBIEE. Develop and test application and automated interface processes. Write SQL scripts and views. Manage BI sessions, web browser, BI server and query cache. Troubleshoot and resolve system and data issues. Conduct unit, integration and user acceptance testing. Participate in build out and test of batch schedule. Participate in deployment of BI Solution. Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve production support issues. Required Skills / Experience: A minimum of 5 years of dimensional data modeling and data profiling experience for data warehouse development. A minimum of 3 years of experience with Enterprise data warehouse architecture and/ or design. A minimum of 3 years of experience in ETL development and system analysis. Multi-module experience preferred. Specific skill with OBIEE/ OBI Apps/ ODI with exposure to PeopleSoft source data is preferred. Experience working on a minimum of two (2) BI implementations. Strong performance tuning skills of ETLs, queries and batch processes. Experience with OBIEE (11g and higher), RPD, Answers, Reports and Dashboards. Experience integrating disparate systems of record into conformed dimensions and fact tables. Experience with PS Query preferred. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Strong Knowledge in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL Basic knowledge in Linux Environment (ODI Server is running in Linux Servers) Knowledge in Administering WebLogic Server 10.3.6 Knowledge in Administering OBIEE Enterprise Manager (Fusion Middleware Control) Knowledge in Troubleshooting ODI related errors from the WebLogic / ODI Logs Knowledge in startup, shutdown, error monitoring, troubleshooting WebLogic / ODI Servers. Knowledge in applying Patches on ODI Environment.
