This position will require a qualified Developers to take the lead in the following tasks: • Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end users specialized role • Monitor the database environment to maximize database availability ensuring response time service levels are achieved. • Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses • Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards • Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity • Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and upgrade to newer versions when required • Assist development staff, IT Support, various business units with debugging and assist in implementing database applications • Knowledge of Unix, Linux basic commands, crontab, sudo • Perform other duties as assigned and required   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
