This request is for a senior level database administrator to assist with the security, maintenance, and support of the RDBMS environment. DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintain and administer the stability of the SQL Server environment. • Administer database security and integrity. • Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery plans. • Perform backup and recovery operations. • Perform capacity planning, database tuning, and performance monitoring. • Provide assistance and guidance to developers on database related activities. • Ensure standards are being adhered to. • Support data migration projects, conversions and product upgrades. • Analyze and troubleshoot SQL Server related issues. • Create, Troubleshoot, and Deploy SSIS packages. • Provide after-hours or weekend maintenance as needed. • Perform other duties as assigned.
