The candidate will work directly with Product Architects and senior development resources across our team, as well as other technical and business stakeholders across the organization in a fast paced agile environment. Primary Responsibilities: • Design and hands-on development of enterprise scale web applications that support customer self-service, business to business and system to system integration utilizing established and emerging technologies; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests. • Contributing to application development by coordinating user requirements, schedules and activities, evaluating technical systems designs, contributing to team meetings, troubleshooting development and production issues across multiple environments and constructing software that meets requirements, promotes reuse, is cost effective, maintainable and highly performant. • Recommending system solutions by comparing advantages of current development tools/methods vs. alternate solutions/technologies/ methodology and working independently and/or with technical partners to design and document the technical specifications. • Supporting product release activities (QA, deployment); participate in product installation & post install support. • Foster innovation through research and conducts studies of alternatives, analyzes and recommends changes in project developmental policies, procedures, standards, and development strategies • Function as a Solutions Architect at an application level and be capable of presenting and brainstorming technology solutions across architects and developers. • Mentor junior developers by performing code reviews, providing guidance and manage work allocation within project teams. • Updates professional knowledge by researching new internet technologies and software products, participating in educational/training opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks. • Being receptive and enthusiastic towards accepting ownership for accomplishing new and challenging assignments and exploring opportunities to grow as a technology professional. Required Skills: · Strong Programming & Debugging skills. · Strong software design and programming fundamentals · Hands on Java/JEE and Open Source skills with the ability to build complex web systems from ground up or interfacing with existing systems. · Strong and proven experience in developing web applications utilizing MVC Architecture - Spring MVC/Spring Core/Web Services (SOAP/REST) and configuring web containers (preferably Tomcat) with a focus on Test Driven Development. · Working Experience with Build Tools (Ant,Maven), Version Control Systems (Git, ClearCase etc) · Code Quality/Coverage Tools (Sonar, Jacocco, PMD/Checkstyle or equivalent) preferred. · Strong knowledge of Design Patterns for Enterprise Software Development. · Experience designing and modelling complex software systems and knowledge of modelling tools (UML, System Architect, Archimate etc) · Expertise in JavaScript programming on both the client and the server (e.g. jQuery, Modernizr.js, Node.js, Phantom.js, Require.js, Backbone.js, Marrionette.js) · Expertise in configuring client side development environments, build tools and tests utilizing modern client side programming con   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
