Our client in Columbus Ohio is seeking an IT Applications Consultant for a contract role.

Candidates must be local to central Ohio or relocated by day one for consideration.

Position will be hybrid and candidates will be required to work onside 2 days a week.

Managing developing & maintaining computer programs, HTML pages & other artifacts for the agencys Intranet & Internet

IT Applications Consultant Overview:

The IT Application Consultant will work under general direction to manage Web Development, develops project, system and/or section policies and establishes systems/programming standards, plans and monitors systems projects and activities which may include systems integration, regularly reviews & updates the Intranet/Internet structure & standards.

Responsibilities:

Assist management in managing developing & maintaining computer programs, HTML pages & other artifacts for the agencys Intranet & Internet
the analysis, design, testing, debugging & documentation of programs, program flows, program integrations, use cases, HTML pages, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), XML/XSL pages & transforms, JavaScript, etc. using the .Net & J2EE frameworks
the use of report generators (e.g., Cognos, Business Objects Enterprise (aka Crystal Reports Enterprise), etc.), data query & manipulation tools, software versioning tools, program development tools (eg. Visual Studio w/C#);
development & presentation of training sessions for SharePoint, programs &/or pages developed/maintained/enhanced using J2EE/JSP, the .Net Framework &/or SharePoint
implementation of new sites &/or features in SharePoint
performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:
