Role: As a Vulnerability Assessment Consultant, you will design the vulnerability assessment process in consultation with related infrastructure and operations team. You will facilitate discussions with key stake holders for all Vulnerability Assessment process control points, remediation steps and escalation requirements. You will manage and execute couple of pilots to facilitate the development of the vulnerability assessment processes around Operating Systems and New Applications. You will mainly interact with the following teams: 1. Application development team. 2. Infrastructure operations team. Qualified candidates will possess the following skills: Technical Skills Demonstrated experience in the design and management of a vulnerability assessment processes around operating system and application vulnerabilities. Strong understanding of system development methodologies and practices. Experience in the management of the Vulnerability assessment lifecycle from the point of identification to remediation. Experienced with various vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools and source code analysis tools (Fortify and WebInspect) is a strong plus. Possesses strong technical analytical skills while providing accurate analysis of process and security related problems. Business Skills Incumbents are client focused and work to resolve all client needs in a timely manner. Establish working relationships with internal clients and individuals for projects and initiatives. Establish credibility and maintain strong working relationships with groups involved with deployment of patches across the company. Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the proven ability to present complex, technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Superior time and project management skills. Key tasks include: Designing the vulnerability assessment processes for new Applications and Operating Systems. Executing two pilots on new Applications and Operating System vulnerabilities. Documenting and agreeing on process steps with all key stakeholders. Minimum Requirements: 1. 5 years of working experience in Vulnerability Assessment. 2. Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science.
