The vision and scope for the Kentucky One Stop portal is to provide a fast, friendly, more reliable and cost effective service to business customers through creation of a single, unified entry point to government. Kentucky One Stop will make starting, operating and expanding a business in Kentucky clearer, faster, and simpler eliminating reoccurring issues and paper-based processes. This position will direct and lead the development architects and technical team members in designing and building the application architecture for KY One Stop. This position is essential to the success of the project in terms of designing a system for public sector consumption that is maintainable, flexible, and scalable. The candidate must have the followings skill-sets: • Five years of real-world hands-on experience as a Solutions Architect on a minimum of three completed projects performing design, development, and integration of complex systems with a focus on best practices for scalability, security, maintainability, and system performance using the full stack of Java and Microsoft technologies • Ability to share and communicate ideas, both orally and in writing, to executive staff, business sponsors, and technical resources in clear concise language that is the common terminology of each group • Technical experience on multiple hardware and software platforms and be comfortable with complex heterogeneous systems environments including Unix, Windows, and zOS • Must have very good understanding and experience in developing solutions using design patterns • Solution design experience utilizing multiple toolsets (BPM, BRE, Identity Management, ESB) • Proven ability to work effectively with a team Preferred knowledge includes: • IBM Business Process Management • Corticon Business Rules Engine • Identity Management and role-based security • IBM Master Data Management • Enterprise Service Bus architecture (IBM Message Broker) • e-Commerce, social media, and mobile device incorporation into system design   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
