The MIAs Management Information Systems Unit (MIS) is responsible for ensuring that all of the Agencys information technology needs are fulfilled. From time to time, additional staffing is needed to carry out special projects or to enable MIS to continue its work when employees are unavailable because of other assignments or absences. The MIA is, therefore, seeking to retain the services of a temporary staffing placement agency who can assign staff with the required information technology-related skills on an as needed basis to perform work for the MIS Unit. Required Skills: *Ability to design, develop, test, implement and maintain applications systems and programs using generally accepted computer programming languages or maintaining and modifying operating systems for computers. *Ability to operate computer systems; control input and output or maintain a tape library to process data on computer systems; or evaluate, implement, and maintain microcomputer hardware and software; or convert data from project specifications by developing program codes using generally accepted computer programming languages. Preferred Education and Experience: *Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or other information technology related field to include course work in systems analysis and applications programming using generally accepted computer programming languages or in operating systems and data communications technology; *One year of experience designing, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining applications systems and programs using generally accepted computer programming languages or maintaining and modifying operating systems for computers.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
