The ideal candidates is a hands-on programmer with strong business analysis skills. Object oriented programming experience is required. Experience in the analysis of data from Financial Institutions, such as banks and/or credit unions, is desired. Experience in financial print is desired. Candidate should have experience integrating multiple technologies into a single system. Critical “out of the box” thinking is required. RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze source data and identify relationships (XML and Flat File sources). -- Import / Define source file and field layouts. -- Define and build integration and data transformation logic through tool components and scripting. -- Define and build output composition for financial print statements. -- Complete other duties as assigned. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education: A Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or equivalent education in a related discipline is required. Related work can be substituted for educational requirements. Job Related Experience: -- A Minimum of five years of hands-on coding. -- Experience in business/systems analysis -- Experience in flat file analysis -- GMC Printnet experience is desired, but not required ---- Coding and analysis skills are much more important than specific tool experience Functional Area Skills/Knowledge: -- A strong knowledge of an object oriented programming language. -- Two years of experience defining integration logic and data transformation rules. -- Experience with Banking and/or Credit Union systems and/or extract data desired -- Experience designing enterprise wide solutions -- The ability to interact with external and internal clients for the purpose of data gathering and discovery -- Strong organizational skills -- Strong written, verbal and non-verbal skills Position is Contract to Hire Position is located in Glastonbury CT   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
