The DevSecOps Cloud Engineer reports into the Chief Development Office and is part of the Cloud-IaC team to provide technical leadership and adherence to best practices. The qualified candidate will collaborate with the Cloud Architecture team to ensure applications are designed and optimized for high availability and disaster recovery, help drive innovation, and create prototypes to help transform the cultural and IT capabilities in a multi-cloud arena. The position requires leadership and team building skills and be able to collaborate effectively within and across team disciplines. Cloud DevSecOps Engineer Demonstrate knowledge of DevSecOps tool chains and processes Demonstrate knowledge of Infrastructure as Code software and templates: Terraform, CDM, CFT, ARM, etc. Demonstrate knowledge of Security as Code principles, policy, best practices, and tools Demonstrate knowledge of Credential, Certificate and Encryption best practices, rotation, and policies Demonstrate knowledge of source code management best principles and best practices Build DevSecOps practices by integrating developed IaC into ADO CICD pipeline builds Implement design patterns and solutions for high availability and disaster recovery for applications Evaluate application stacks and articulate cloud-based/native designs and/or migration strategy (e.g., re-platform or re-architect applications in cloud) Participate and/or lead a team designing, developing, and testing IaC solutions for Cloud platforms Develop documentation utilizing standardized templates including: Installation and Configuration Guides, design, and workflows Generate documentation as needed to support process and procedures documents for operational support, lessons learned, diagrams, systems administration guidelines, systems set-up documentation, hardware integration test plans and results Provide support in validating and verifying requirements, requirements analysis and decomposition, requirements test/verification/validation, and reporting Provide technical leadership to solve complex requirements Support the Cloud Architecture team and provide input into the technology and tooling roadmap Mentor team members and technical staff on their assigned project tasks and best practices Contribute to the definition and development of cloud reference architecture Basic Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of cloud architect level experience with GCP, AWS, and/or GCP Minimum of 3 years of experience building and releasing infrastructure-as-code (IAC) with an understanding of full lifecycle configuration management Minimum of 3 years of experience developing coding/scripting to build required automation and tools using Terraform and/or Cloud Templates. Additional tools are plus: YAML, JSON, Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Chef, Ruby, etc. Bachelors degree or equivalent (minimum 10 years) work experience, or an associate degree with a minimum of 5 years of work experience Preferred Qualifications: Associate or Architect level certification in GCP, AWS and/or Azure Terraform Associate level certificate Full stack engineering knowledge – application, network, infrastructure Understanding of containers and serverless computing concepts Background in applicat   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
