The person in this position will need to pull, compare and validate information from current PLM and compliance databases to approve part lifecycle promotion. Microsoft will train on the use of databases, but candidate must be comfortable in learning new tools. Processing Compliance Documents: Microsoft directs its suppliers to provide information and forms including Bill of Materials, engineering drawings, full material declarations, test reports, etc. The person in this position does not have to have technical expertise in these areas but will monitor documentation that are submitted and ensure they are organized for review by the NPI Team. A thorough review for completeness (non-technical) may also be required. Document editing and formatting: We routinely create new or updated specifications, process documents, and training presentations. This position will assist in the final drafting, non-technical editing, and formatting of these documents. Qualifications: Candidate must be detail oriented, able to effectively multitask, be prompt, reliable and self-motivated. The candidate must be well-organized, able to meet tight and strict deadlines, and enjoy working both collaboratively and independently. We utilize technology whenever possible, so this position requires a computer savvy person who is capable and comfortable learning new tools. Editing and formatting expertise, as well as proficient use of Word, Excel, Share Point, Power BI and PowerPoint are a must.
