Works closely with the end users to ensure application functionality. Develops system validation processes for software and hardware upgrades. Works closely with BioMed and Modality vendors to ensure system integration/performance. IT liaison to the end user department leadership. Description of duties Maintains accurate and thorough documentation of assigned applications design. Ensures application stability and performance of assigned systems. Technical knowledge of Networking, Server, Desktop and Application design to support end users. Project Management responsibilities for all upgrades of assigned applications. Collaborates with representatives of other departments, divisions and entities in the health system to establish and maintain synergistic planning, operations and end user application satisfaction. Work close with all other departments within ITS to ensure product knowledge and support levels are understood. Project Management: planning organizing multiple phases of project. Maintains accurate, thorough documentation. Determines and evaluates system issues, recommends solutions. Projects are assigned at the discretion of management. Maintain McKesson PACS and all ancillary systems. Responsible for day-to-day operation of McKesson PACS equipment including image workflow, archiving, auto-routing, and prefetching and other related activities. Works closely with department managers to ensure timely and complete capture of DICOM digital image data into the McKesson PACS system.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
