This project includes the conversion of the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) to the Student Aid Index (SAI) as indicated by the Federal FAFSA Simplification Act. Prepare documentation of the current system. Mainframe transition to new system which includes analyzing existing IP and determine where changes will be needed. Define the system, technical, and application architectures for the area of development and make suggestions. Receive user approvals and create an implementation plan. Gather requirements for new SAI award calculations. Identify required changes to the current system and identify server-side changes. Spec out changes for existing and/or new IP – implement program changes; and create test plans. Receive user approval; create implementation plan; implement to production. Documentation.
