OSI purpose, goals, and portfolio statement Reimagining transportation through a culture of innovation; Innovating through a set of high impact imperatives What broad set of solutions is OSI pursuing? • Enhanced customer experience through Connected Mobility • Working smarter and proactively though the use of data analytics and automation • Meeting travelers expectations by preparing for Connected and Automated Vehicles and Intelligent Infrastructure • Leveraging renewable energy and climate friendly approaches to make VDOT more resilient Core responsibilities of Innovation Project Manager • Gain broad understanding of the VDOT innovation framework • Manage assigned projects and programs based on industry best of breed solutions, protocols, tools, platforms, and services • Manage projects/programs involving innovative solution development involving IoT devices, wired/wireless networks, interconnected systems, screening tools, dashboards, data models, GIS use cases, • practice PMP applicable processes • Where applicable, manage solution delivery vendors scope, schedule, cost, quality, and completeness • manage stakeholder communications and expectations KSA: - Must be well versed in IoT device connectivity programs, processes, technologies, and data services - Knowledge of geographical information systems (GIS) - Must have PMP certification or be able to obtain VITA PM Certification within 90 days - Independent self-starter, must accomplish assigned projects with minimal supervision and task level guidance Experience: - Minimum 5 years with hands-on experience using KSA managing systems delivery projects - Proven experience in developing new/innovative solutions - Proven ability to connect the dots to develop new solutions from existing systems - Experience in managing large number of tasks at the same time and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams - Proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems. - Experience with business and technical requirements analysis - Good project/program management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, etc. - Excellent communication and documentation skills.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
