WSI is examining options to increase efficiency in its business process by seeking information from vendors capable of providing in whole or in part the following as they relate to the medical industry. The RFI is issued to determine vendor capabilities for managed care services and tools for: • Pre-payment bill auditing based on national coding standards • Bill pricing including incorporating the ND workers compensation fee schedule, as well as integrating other states fee schedules • Workers compensation-specific national provider networks • Coordination of benefits based on the accepted ICD-10 of the workers compensation claim The information will be used for a possible future competitive solicitation for the identified areas. Responses to this RFI could be used by WSI for the purpose of completing its feasibility and cost benefit analysis. Responders will not be held to price estimates provided as part of the RFI should WSI later decide to issue a request for proposals (RFP). This RFI does not constitute an invitation for bid (IFB), request for proposal (RFP), or request for quotation (RFQ), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by WSI. WSI will review all responses received.
