Due to an unprecedented period of growth, we have a PROJECT/CONTRACT position opportunity in the FT. WORTH, TX area for an EDI DEVELOPER. Responsibilities: The selected resource will work with internal staff on a project basis to analyze new EDI requirements/opportunities, identify business impact, design, test and implement new and existing B2B Trading Partners in a SAP ERP system. Candidates must demonstrate a solid understanding of all general EDI concepts and messaging standards and be able to setup B2B communications on internal Sterling B2B Integrator platform. This will include VAN, AS2, FTP and SFTP. All candidates must be able to demonstrate positive leadership and teamwork skills. Must be able to work successfully within a diverse team and with challenging deliverables and production schedules. Requirements: BS/BA degree in General Business, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field is required. ALL candidates must have a minimum of 5-years experience in full life-cycle EDI development. Hands-on experience with Sterling Integrator tools also required. Minimum 3-5 years experience in hands-on configuration of Sterling B2B including Sterling Control Center, Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Secure Proxy, Connect Direct, PGP. Candidates with experience in MQ Series are desired. Candidates must have hands-on experience using ANSI X12, EDIFACT and/or Tradacoms EDI standards and be able to understand and interpret XML and SAP iDoc structure. Experience developing SQL stored procedures and queries using Microsoft SQL or Oracle strongly preferred Experience working within multiple platforms and operation environments including SAP, Unix and Windows.
