We are searching for someone with working years of experience with CA Unified Infrastructure Manager experience. This person will be joining a team of 13 people who support on-prem systems and tools. This team supports a lot of UNIX, some Solaris, and some RedHat Linux. Location: Owings Mills, MD Duration: 6 month contract Requirements: CA Unified Infrastructure Manager experience (2+ years) Knowledge of different probes (Ex. CDM, apache, others…) Knowledge of how to adjust alerting thresholds Understanding of what the product is capable of Solaris / Linux administration experience (3-5 years minimum) Apply / remove security patches on Solaris 10 and 11 Apply / remove patches on Linux (Red Hat) knowledge of Solaris Ops Center a plus Thoroughly understand the boot process Manage Solaris Alternate Boot Environments (ABEs) Bash shell scripting Automate routine tasks Write custom scripts to monitor processes and tie in to CA UIM.
